Rural American is a "politically correct" reference to the life style I have come to love and love to document. Some might refer to it as a hillbilly way of life. Images reference the photography that I enjoy creating and sharing. I am self taught using a few books, online sites, and video based lessons. Beyond that my dad gave me some early advice, take lots of pictures and keep the sun to your back. Since then I've take well over 100,000 photos, a few of them are pretty good. I don't always keep the light to my back, but where it is is always in the back of my mind.
